The studio room that we booked was clean and spacious as was the bathroom.
Wi-Fi was not accessible in the bedroom - although cable access was available for laptops. Wi-Fi was only accessible in lobby area. Reception staff were not particularly helpful - did not pass a call through to my room and did not pass on message that my son had called for me. No coffee / tea making facilities in room.
Tramway station was near, about 10 min. walk. Little shoppingcenter was behind hotel.
Good size room. Very comfortable bed. Full size fridge. Parking. Would stay again.
Have to hold shower, no bracket, bit odd !!
Family room. Shutters.
Too hot. Air con too noisy. Breakfast not very good value for the price (poor quality ingredients).Wifi did not work.
The room was nice and clean.
TRAM station was distant.
The room is very good and breakfast is worth for the money
Reception is poor in English and not very friendly and the location is in remote area. Unable to find it without GPS
Clean room with minibar fridge, free wifi, a/c worked, paid parking in well-lit secure parkade with elevator and re-entry priviledges for 7 euros, breakfast buffet was good value for money & good selection, was able to book a time to use hotel's laundry room to do several loads of laundry (coin-op) which was very convenient at this point of my trip, receptionist was nice and did not speak English well but was friendly about my poor French so was able to communicate fairly well. There is a supermarket walking distance just down the street from this hotel.
You need a car to stay here as quite far from center of Montpellier so not within walking distance of much, except the supermarket. Was difficult to locate and had to use gps coordinates to find. The second night of my stay, was actually in a different room (I ended up staying longer than I had at first planned/hotel was accomodating of this) and this second room had a kitchenette suite. I did not use this kitchen suite as all the dishes, cups, etc in it were dirty and there was no dishwashing soap provided to clean anything. This was not a big deal for me, as I really only needed the mini fridge, which was spotless- but it might be a problem for travellers staying longer with a family. (It would be good if the hotel left some dish soap.)
We needed to break our long journey and only booked at the last minute so there was little availability in Montpellier in our budget which is the only reason we chose Villa Bellagio. Having said that it was a nice hotel with surprisingly nice touches here and there. The breakfast, at 5 € was good value for money.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, 25 minutes by car to the centre of Montpellier. There is however a Casino restaurant 2 minutes away on foot and they are always good value for money. It is also a longish drive to get to from the Autoroute. We booked a suite with a bedroom and a sofabed and I slept on the sofabed which was possibly, no definitely, the worst and most uncomfortable sofabed I have ever slept on (well slept is an exaggeration as I didn't get any sleep until I tried sleeping across the bed with my legs hanging off the other side).
Very good choice when travelling by car. Spacious and clean rooms, parking spaces and easy to reach tram station. I would strongly recommend the hotel.
The front desk (female) receptionist did not seem happy with her position and did not make us feel welcomed.
Good breakfast, large selection.
We had booked a suite for 4 people but when we arrived it had been let to someone else. We were then offered two separate double rooms, but in completely different areas, which was not ideal with children. Then one of those rooms was also occupied, so we're given one room in completely different building to the other. Fortunately we were only staying there for one night.
Basic, very limited restaurant at the location. Limited help from hotel staff and our shower was broken. Need some tea making facilities in the room. At least a supermarket is very close by, the pizza caravan opposite the supermarket has one of the best pizza.
nothing at all!, the personel was so lazy and not firendly at all
they say on Booked.net that it is 3km from the center while in the reality it is 7km or more
The room was ok.
The room was ok but the other part of the building was old and gives the impression that you were in the hospital... There was strange noise on and off.
room very ,very dirty also the hotel. The bathroom had not been cleaned for years. The sign of non smoking was there for nothing ,because the room smelled so bad .Breakfast was poor and the place was dirty .
OK location for day trips with a car, fairly spacious family room
Room not particularly clean
